We set up the John Sweeney Friends of Rockwood Scholarship to the University of Delaware Center for Material Culture Studies.

John Sweeney, who was a loyal and devoted member of The Friends of Rockwood for many years, passed away on May 17, 2007. This scholarship is to honor his great contribution to Rockwood Museum.
